We are delighted to share that Logiealmond has been shortlisted in two Scottish Country Sports Tourism Awards, in recognition of our exceptional standards in luxury hospitality and outstanding sporting experiences.

The Best Sporting Estate 2025 seeks to celebrate a leading Scottish sporting estate that sets the standard for excellence. It recognises estates where outstanding land management, strong partnerships, and world-class sporting experiences come together to offer responsible, high quality days in the field. Where going above and beyond isn't the exception - but the expectation.
The Best Sporting Accommodation 2025 honours accommodation providers who go above and beyond, to create the perfect retreat for guests exploring Scotland’s rich tradition of country sports. It's about celebrating those who not only offer outstanding places to stay but also give visitors a true taste of Scotland's hospitality and stunning natural surroundings.
Estate Manager, Philip Blount, shared “Being recognised in two categories highlights the ongoing investment in the 5,500-acre Logiealmond Estate, which continues to gain a global reputation for it’s exceptional shooting experiences, warm hospitality and luxurious lodges.”

Situated in the heart of Highland Perthshire, Logiealmond offers an unparalleled country sports experience, that is redefining the standard for premium, responsible tourism in Scotland. In just four years, the estate's shoot calendar has more than doubled in let days per season, each offering 250-300 birds. The estate is also home to an expanding program of fishing, stalking and simulated clay days during the summer months.
Bespoke itineraries, with chauffeur-driven transport, curated for guests include whisky tours at Glenturret and dining at the 2-star Michelin Lalique restaurant. Guests also enjoy white-water rafting and other exciting outdoor activities with our partners Splash Rafting, and mountain craft and team-building challenges with Nomad Mountaineering.

Eighteen beautifully built or restored farmhouses, lodges, cottages, and steadings sleep over 100 guests, blending authentic country charm with high-end modern amenities. Guests enjoy spacious interiors with fully equipped kitchens, log-burning stoves, plush furnishings, local artworks and luxurious en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers and stylish bathtubs. Hot tubs with amazing views over the Perthshire countryside bring additional benefits to visitors. Each property has been thoughtfully designed to reflect the estate’s rural character, while ensuring maximum comfort and convenience.
The scale and pace of transformation at Logiealmond has been remarkable. When the current owners purchased it from the Mansfields of Scone Palace in 2019, it was derelict and in need of significant regeneration. Today, it is a thriving rural hub. Committed to restoring derelict buildings and land, Logiealmond Estate have plans in motion to create a unique year-round destination including a spa, wedding venue, butchery, farm shop and brewery.
The Estate is also committed to becoming a net carbon, off-grid environment. All accommodation is sustainably heated by five ground-source heat pumps, and the estate’s farm will become fully off-grid upon the installation of a solar energy and battery storage system in 2025.
Logiealmond Estate is also helping to strengthen the wider rural network. Through close collaboration with neighbouring estates such as Auchlyne and Abercairny, excess stalking days are shared, ensuring demand is met and rural businesses benefit collectively. Partnerships with Gleneagles and tour operators like George Goldsmith, Guns on Pegs and Lomand Golf Tours have positioned the estate at the top tier of sporting experiences in Scotland.
The prestigious awards, sponsored by Thornton’s, will be presented on the BASC stand at the Scottish Game Fair, to be held at Scone Palace on Friday 4th July.
