GREYSTONES

Once the manse serving the hamlet of Harrietfield, Greystones has stood at the heart of this peaceful community for more than 170 years. Built in 1854 on the site of an earlier church, which was demolished in 1830, this elegant country house served as the parish manse until the late 1980s, when it became a private residence.

Designed for gathering together, Greystones offers generous living spaces filled with natural light and period character. Beautiful stone walls, traditional fireplaces, elegant staircases and generous windows reflect the building's rich history, while contemporary en-suite bathrooms, luxurious furnishings and modern conveniences ensure a comfortable stay.

At its heart is a large country-style kitchen, complete with a traditional Welsh dresser and generous dining table, creating the perfect setting for everything from leisurely breakfasts to celebratory dinners. French doors open directly onto the garden, allowing guests to enjoy alfresco dining, morning coffee or an evening drink in the warmer months.

The house offers two sitting rooms, each with a wood-burning stove. Whether enjoying a quiet morning with a book, sharing stories after a day exploring the estate or settling in for a film, there is ample space for everyone to relax. A television is provided in the principal sitting room.

Soft furnishings, carefully chosen artwork and calming neutral tones create elegant bedrooms that invite rest after a day spent exploring the estate.

Surrounded by its own private gated grounds, with mature trees and the Kindrum Burn flowing through the garden, Greystones is a wonderfully peaceful place to relax and reconnect with nature.
