Top quality golf courses in Perthshire, Fife and Angus are all easily reached from Logiealmond Estate, and our in-house team can co-ordinate course bookings and travel arrangements on your behalf. You don’t even need to drive yourself to your chosen golf course – our local luxury travel partners, Elate, can provide a chauffeur-driven Range Rover or Mercedes V Class (for up to six passengers plus luggage) so that you can unwind after your round.

AUCHTERARDER
Golfers who play at Auchterarder’s well-maintained parkland course love its beautiful scenery and friendly team. Easy to play on foot, the 1913 course design has stood the test of time, and golfers of all abilities enjoy the wide variety of holes. The course has also won awards for environmental excellence and biodiversity.

BLAIRGOWRIE
A truly Highland setting, with heather-lined avenues of pine trees and silver birch, make a trip to Blairgowrie Golf Club an atmospheric occasion. There are two Championship courses to choose from – the Rosemount and the Lansdowne – and both have first-rate golfing heritage, with holes designed by Dr Alister Mackenzie, James Braid and Peter Alliss. Both courses are well-maintained and each delivers a satisfying, highly enjoyable round of golf.

CARNOUSTIE
Carnoustie’s Championship Links course, located just metres from the bracing waves of the North Sea, regularly hosts the British Open and the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. It’s widely regarded as one of the toughest golf courses in the world, with daunting bunkers and the devious Barry Burn – you have to cross it five times during the final two holes. The other two courses at Carnoustie Links – the Burnside and the Buddon – are more forgiving, but a challenge nonetheless.

CRIEFF
Another Perthshire golf course with stunning views, the Ferntower championship course is long and testing, with wide fairways spread across gently sloping parkland. The beautiful views across the Strathearn Valley get more impressive as you progress around the course which will be a welcome consolation if you’re not playing your best game.

GLENEAGLES
Synonymous with sporting luxury, Gleneagles is home to three of Scotland’s most prestigious championship golf courses and has hosted the Ryder and Solheim Cups. While the more challenging King’s Course uses natural hollows and water features to great effect, the beautiful Queen’s Course serves up high ridges and woodland views. The modern Nicklaus-designed PGA Centenary Course completes the offering, with its ambitious long tees.

ST ANDREWS
Every golfer dreams about playing at St Andrews where the Old Course remains the world’s oldest and most iconic golf course. There are seven beautiful courses to choose from, including the 9-hole Balgove course – ideal for younger players, beginners and families. The newest course is the cliff top Castle Course which opened in 2008 and delivers spectacular views across the town.

If you like your golf to come with a view, look no further than the idyllic Links course at Kingsbarns where you can see the waves from virtually every hole. Its seaside setting is sublime, the hospitality is second to none, and the course itself is gently challenging. It’s no wonder golf has been played here since 1793.

MURRAYSHALL
