Located in a gorgeous cobbled courtyard, this 18th century stable block has been converted into a spacious country holiday home for four, featuring a lovely open-plan living space with a cosy wood-burner. Set on a country Estate on the southern fringes of the Scottish Highlands, you get stunning views over the heather-clad hills. A host of fantastic sporting, recreational and cultural opportunities await guests on the Estate and nearby, including grouse shooting, deer stalking, and salmon fishing.

STABLES COTTAGE

This former stable block has been given a new lease of life as a beautiful holiday home in rural Scotland, taking up one side of a cobbled courtyard. The thick walls and wooden doors with deep window sills and skylights retain a sense of history while creating a wonderfully light property.

Enter through a covered porch into the main living space, focused on the cosy log burner. Relax on the comfy sofas, perfect for a board game around the coffee table, with windows overlooking the garden. The well-equipped farmhouse style kitchen area has a circular dining table and leads to a separate utility room.

Head down the hall to the bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a super king-sized bed with a large walk-in shower in the en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has twin beds with a bath and shower over in its en-suite bathroom. The farmhouse feel continues with tartan carpets and metal bed frames in both bedrooms.

Outside there is ample room for parking. There is a large, lawned garden with patio furniture.

LOGIEALMOND ESTATE

Stables Cottage is part of Logiealmond Estate, a privately-owned working farm and country estate in Perthshire, Scotland. Known for its beautiful scenery, the area also boasts excellent sporting and recreational opportunities all year round. These include high-quality, walked-up grouse and game shooting, first-class pheasant and partridge shooting, red, roe and fallow deer stalking, and salmon and sea trout fishing on the River Tay. Clay pigeon and rough shooting can be organised by the estate on request. Please contact the Estate Manager at philip.blount@logiealmondestate.com to make arrangements.

The town of Perth is just 12 miles away with good shopping, restaurants, sports centres and a theatre and concert hall. Road connections are excellent with nearby motorway access to the cities of Edinburgh (57 miles) and Glasgow (64 miles). Perth train station offers regular services to Inverness, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and London (including the Caledonian Sleeper service) and Perth airport offers private air travel.

They have been welcoming and helpful. Was welcomed by the amazing lady Heda. She was friendly and great at her job, the place was spotless and very high standard. The owner has put a lot of time and thought into the cottages, very peaceful and tranquil, the trails i would recommend as the sights and nature was breathtaking. P.S. We will definitely be back .

Thank you for your warm welcome to the Stables. Our stay in the cottage was delightful with its strong links to the past yet so very modern. The décor was beautiful, the pictures, the lamps etc were in keeping with the spirit of the place. Our drive to the cottage with the tall broadleaf trees interspersed with the occasional fir, the pheasants and quail so close to the paths the beaters assisting the hunters all added to the magic. Once again, a big thank you.

Lovely hosts, fabulous Cottage and an idyllic location. The house was really comfortable, with masses of space for four people, a really nice sitting area and a very well equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfortable and the bedding was also really nice. The temperature was perfect. We were left lots of little treats when we arrived - all of which we ate and drank!

Beautiful cottage in a stunning landscape! Great kitchen with excellent facilities and large open plan design, the perfect space for hanging out with friends. There’s a few great walks too that take you up tracks into the hills and a big loop you can do. There’s estate is on a pretty high elevation with beautiful views over the landscape. Crieff near by is a great stop as is Killin and Dunkeld and Logiealmond Estate is in the middle of it all. Beautiful and peaceful cottage with helpful friendly staff a text away if needed. I highly recommend it.

Contact our friendly team ahead of your visit to arrange airport transfers, luxury car or mini-bus hire, or chauffeur-driven vehicles to personally meet you from any airport, train station or other location. We can also arrange drivers and vehicles for days out visiting local towns and cities, cultural and visitor attractions, castles, whisky distilleries or golf courses.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

The Logiealmond team can arrange bookings for local outdoor activity providers. Try your hand at fishing on the Tay, Scotland’s longest river, with Fishponds, or if you’re looking for an adrenaline-filled experience we can arrange white water rafting, river bugging or canyoning with Splash Rafting. Other memorable experiences include stand up paddle boarding, abseiling and paintballing.

Bring your own mountain bike to explore our network of trails around the Estate. You can also mountain bike in any of Scotland’s national forests too. In nearby Perth, we can arrange visits to Deuchny Bike Park or Comrie Croft who both have an excellent network of tracks and trails in the beautiful Perthshire countryside.

Our Estate Manager Philip, is a keen hillwalker and will be happy to advise on local walks and munros to ‘bag’ during your visit.

GAME SHOOTING AND SIMULATED GAME SHOOTING AT LOGIEALMOND

Logiealmond Estate is fast becoming renowned for its high quality sporting and hospitality driven game shoot days. See our shoot calendar for available dates between September and January with a full mix of sporting birds.

Outwith the game shooting season, guests can try their hand at clay pigeon shooting and enjoy our expert-led simulated game shoots. It’s a great outdoor sport that can be enjoyed by everyone, regardless of age and physical ability. A fantastic activity to get together with friends and family to practice your shooting skills, improve your hand-eye coordination, and sharpen your focus!

CATERING FOR YOUR VISIT

Our concierge service can also arrange a private chef to cater for all or part of your visit. Whether you are planning a romantic dinner for two, a casual family gathering or a traditional Scottish dinner, our chef will prepare mouth-watering meals made with local produce and our own Estate-reared organic beef, lamb, venison and game.
